I’m DJ SG-UK, a product of Brixton’s dynamic streets, deeply rooted in the London house music scene since the 1990s. My journey has been shaped by the rich tapestry of sounds from reggae and rare groove to RnB and hip-hop. With over two decades of experience, I’ve contributed to the evolution of garage, grime, and funky house, performing across London’s iconic venues. Through MixMastersLondon.com, I aim to share my passion, experiences, and insights, celebrating the past, present, and future of the London house music scene.
I came up in 90s Brixton, raised on sound systems, dub plates, and basement raves where house and garage took over. From the early grime, funky house, and UKG days to the tech and deep house movements of today, I’ve lived and breathed the London nightlife for over two decades.
My journey has taken me from warehouse raves to club residencies, from spinning vinyl to digital DJing, and from dancefloors to radio airwaves. MixMasters London is my way of bringing together the music, culture, and community that keeps house music alive.
